Formula Photographic is very excited to be the official TV and Media Production Partner for the Canadian Rally Championship, starting in 2014 for three years. Here's the full announcement...
The Canadian Association of RallySport is pleased to announce we have confirmed a three-year agreement with Formula Photographic Inc. to serve as the Canadian Rally Championship media production partner. The agreement brings together an expert team including Bowes Media Inc. and Dean Campbell Editorial to the championship, delivering proven experience in television, media, and digital content.
The new partnership promises to enhance the exposure of the Canadian Rally Championship (CRC) both within Canada and abroad. Through an expanded digital media effort, and alliances with established video distribution partners, the program will bring Canadian rally to a larger and more diverse audience.
For 2014, and beyond, the Canadian Rally Championship will feature:
Social Media: An expanded social media program, with activity year-round and integration with videos, event activities and teams.
Web Series: A twelve-episode online video series starting mid summer on a bi-weekly basis. This narrative-driven series will highlight the personalities and stories of perseverance and adventure that make rally so unique.
Online Videos: Short rally videos will be released on alternating weeks to compliment the web series, keeping fans engaged on a regular basis.
Broadcast Series: CARS will continue its long history of showing the CRC on traditional broadcast networks in English and French.
Enhanced Exposure: The Formula Photographic team will be continuing the path set in 2013 by turning their lenses towards a broad range of competitors and event participants. The goal will be to share the true nature of the sport in the promotional work being produced.
“I’m looking forward to working with Formula Photographic Inc. in the coming years,” says CARS Marketing Manager Keith Morison. “Everyone on the team has been a staple of promoting the sport over the last decade and their commitment to the sport will make for great coverage.”
“Our whole team has been eagerly anticipating this opportunity,” says Executive Producer, Warwick Patterson. “We look forward to putting our collective experience in action to bring the CRC to a new level. A three-year agreement gives us the momentum to build a very strong program for the Canadian rally community.”
“These are exciting times,” says CARS President John Hall. ”The board had a tough decision to make as they reviewed the proposals but the vision and talent of the Formula Photographic team was clearly in line with the PR goals of CARS and our partners. I appreciate the interest shown by the other vendors and in particular I would like to express my appreciation for the excellent job done by Muskateer Media in covering the 2013 season
The Formula Photographic Inc. coverage of the Canadian Rally Championship starts with the Rallye Perce Neige Maniwaki on February 8, 2014.
